Spread across 15 acres, Discovery Park is a place where families can enjoy time together. This green space offers activities for all ages.

Kids' faces light up at the multiple playgrounds scattered around the park. Little ones have their own special area with toddler and preschooler equipment that's just their size, while the more adventurous older kids can tackle the bigger slides, conquer rock climbing walls, swing across monkey bars, or soar on the swings. The playground equipment is well-maintained - some of the nicest in the Henderson area.

What we really like about Discovery Park are its generous open green spaces. These expansive lawns are fantastic for throwing down a blanket, gathering the family, tossing a ball around, or simply unwinding with a good book.

You'll appreciate the mature trees that create delightful pockets of shade within the park - an absolute blessing during those scorching Nevada summer days. These leafy giants provide welcome relief when temperatures climb.

Meandering through the greenery are several paved walking trails that accommodate everyone from casual strollers to power walkers. Most paths are wheelchair accessible and wonderfully shaded, with drinking fountains strategically placed along the way when you need to hydrate.

Sports enthusiasts will feel right at home here. The park has well-maintained baseball fields, soccer fields, and basketball courts where you can enjoy pickup games or more organized competitions.

You'll come across clean restroom facilities around the park and plenty of parking (including accessible spaces). The central Henderson location means you're never too far from this green getaway.
