Located in Woodbridge, Pochek Park is a hidden retreat for outdoor enthusiasts, particularly baseball fans. Recently, the park has gotten quite the facelift with some noteworthy upgrades.

Perhaps the most exciting addition? Twelve new regulation-size asphalt pickleball courts. They're properly surfaced and striped to meet all the official standards - perfect if you've caught the pickleball bug that seems to be sweeping through neighborhoods everywhere.

Amenities and Recreation

If you're bringing little ones along, you can find a small playground with basic structures to keep them entertained. It's nothing fancy - more rustic than cutting-edge - but it does the job for kids who need to burn off some energy.

The park has generous green spaces that make for ideal picnic spots. Grab a blanket, pack some sandwiches, and enjoy a relaxed meal on the grass. Sometimes the simple pleasures really are the best.

Location and Access

You'll find the park nestled behind ShopRite on St Georges Ave, with a handy side gate that lets you walk straight over to grab snacks or supplies. Its position off Routes 1 and 35 in Woodbridge means you can get there without too much hassle.

If you're driving in from Route 9 North, your best bet is to approach via West Woodbridge Avenue. Coming from Route 1 North can be a bit tricky - you'll need to navigate across multiple lanes to reach the Regina Street exit, which isn't for the faint of heart during busy traffic times.

Parking and Facilities

When it comes to parking, there are two small lots that together hold about 50 cars. Just a heads up: shade is at a premium here with only one tree to speak of, so you might want to bring a hat on sunny days. Also worth noting is that there aren't currently any bathroom facilities available.

The recent renovations have improved this recreational space for locals.
