Historical Significance
Historically, the area where Henpeck Park now stands was once a bustling port known as the Port of South Greece in the 1800s. During that time, it featured a grocery store, post office, schoolhouse, 25 houses, and two doctors' offices.
Today, the park serves as a memorial to this historic canal stop.
