This 22-acre recreational area located on Velasko Road serves as a major site for local sports organizations and school athletic teams, including WOYSA (Western Onondaga Youth Soccer Association), Blue Wave Lacrosse, and Westhill School District teams.
The park features multiple athletic fields used for soccer, lacrosse, and other field sports. Tennis enthusiasts can enjoy the park's three tennis courts, while basketball players have access to a dedicated basketball court. For those interested in the increasingly popular sport of pickleball, the park offers four pickleball courts.
Family-Friendly Areas
Families with young children will appreciate the playground areas available in the park. Adjacent to the play areas is a shade shelter, providing a comfortable spot for parents to watch their children or for visitors to relax.
For larger gatherings or events, the park has an upper pavilion equipped with two large grills, which is available for reservations.
Tikes 'n Bikes Santaro Town
A unique feature of Anthony J. Santaro Memorial Park is the Tikes 'n Bikes Santaro Town area. This is a fenced-in space designed to provide a safe environment for various wheeled activities.
