Found on Grant Boulevard in Syracuse, New York, McChesney Park has been serving the northside community since 1925. This 4.315-acre space sits right next to Grant Middle School, providing a nice outdoor area for neighborhood residents.

If you're looking for sports facilities, McChesney has several options. The park has two softball diamonds where local teams play during the warmer months. Basketball enthusiasts can shoot hoops at the dual courts, while tennis players will appreciate the two well-maintained courts that now feature pickleball lines as well - fantastic for joining in on America's fastest-growing sport!

The playground area offers the classics kids love: swings, slides, seesaws, and climbing bars where little ones can burn off energy and make new friends. Worth noting is that the equipment tends to better serve older children, with fewer options for the very little ones. Still, it's a great spot for neighborhood kids to enjoy some outdoor playtime.
