Park Overview

Set in east Charlotte, Eastway Park spans a generous 95 acres along Eastway Drive. The park offers a nice balance between natural areas and recreational spaces. Here, you can reconnect with nature without sacrificing access to your favorite sports and leisure activities.

The park doesn't exist in isolation - follow the trails and you'll find yourself in the neighboring Briarwood Park, effectively creating one extended green haven for your walking adventures.

Eastway Regional Recreation Center

A major feature of Eastway Park is the Eastway Regional Recreation Center, which opened in April 2021. At 95,000 square feet, it's quite substantial.

The center is designed for east Charlotte's diverse community and accommodates people of all ages. Inside, you can find two full gymnasiums, pickleball courts (yes, the sport everyone's talking about!), a well-equipped fitness area, and an indoor walking track meant for those rainy days or summer heat escapes.
