Edgehill Park

A Green Oasis in the Heart of Charlotte

Edgehill Park spans a modest 5.3 acres in central Charlotte and packs in plenty of charm. This shady retreat offers a welcome escape from the North Carolina heat, especially when summer temperatures soar. It's the kind of place where you can catch your breath and reconnect with nature without venturing far from the city.

Take a Stroll

Winding paths invite you to lace up your walking shoes and explore the grounds. If you're in the mood for a casual amble to clear your head or looking to get your steps in for the day, the trails accommodate all paces and purposes.

Get Active

There's a well-maintained tennis court complete with a backboard for those days when you can't find a partner but still want to practice your swing. Thanks to evening lighting, your game doesn't have to end when the sun goes down.

If you're bringing little ones along, the shaded playground is an excellent spot for them to burn off energy. The play equipment is particularly suitable for toddlers, and you can easily keep an eye on them from nearby seating areas without worrying about excessive sun exposure.

For fitness enthusiasts, the park offers outdoor exercise equipment in good condition. It's a refreshing alternative to indoor gyms - nothing beats a workout with birds chirping in the background.

Find Your Quiet Corner

One of Edgehill's greatest assets is its peaceful atmosphere. The picnic areas scattered throughout provide perfect spots to enjoy a packed lunch or simply sit with a book. There's something meditative about this space - a quality that's becoming increasingly precious in our busy urban environments.
