Historic Significance
Established in 1904, Elizabeth Park holds the distinction of being Charlotte's first public park. Located in the Elizabeth neighborhood, this historic green space spans 24 acres at the intersection of East 7th Street and North Kings Drive.
Originally designed by renowned landscape architect John Nolen, the park represents an important piece of Charlotte's public space heritage.
