Recreational Facilities

The park features Raleigh's only outdoor skate park, which provides street, flow, and bowl elements for skateboarding enthusiasts. Safety gear such as helmets, elbow pads, and knee pads are required for use, and participants must sign a waiver before skating.

Adjacent to the skate park is a large inline hockey rink measuring 185 feet by 85 feet. The rink utilizes a Plexiflor in-line skating surfacing system and is equipped with two hockey goals. This facility is available for rent, offering opportunities for organized games and practice sessions.

Family-Friendly Areas

Marsh Creek Park includes multiple playgrounds catering to different age groups. The playground areas are fenced and feature equipment suitable for children aged 2-5 and 5-12 years old.

The play surfaces consist of a mixture of cushiony rubber and wood chips, with concrete paths throughout for accessibility. For those seeking outdoor relaxation, the park provides picnic areas with tables, including a covered lower deck area convenient to the playground.
