When Can You Visit?

If you're making plans, mark your calendar for Summer 2025. Construction is set to kick off in Summer 2024, so we're still in the anticipation phase of Eugene's ambitious project to make the riverfront more accessible and community-friendly.

What Makes It Special

Once completed, the plaza will feature a water fountain that's bound to become a favorite spot to cool off during Oregon's warm summer days. You'll find several comfortable benches scattered throughout - great for enjoying a packed lunch or simply sitting back and soaking in those tranquil river views.

The designers have planned this space to be flexible and dynamic, capable of hosting various activities and events as the seasons change. Just a heads up: there aren't plans for public restrooms within the plaza itself, so you might want to plan accordingly when you visit.
