Park Overview

Errol Heights Park is a 16-acre public space located in the Brentwood-Darlington neighborhood of southeast Portland, Oregon. The park consists of two distinct sections: an upper plateau and a lower natural area, connected by an elevated boardwalk.

Natural Features

The lower section of the park features a diverse ecosystem, including Oregon ash wetlands and Errol Creek, which feeds into nearby Johnson Creek. This area has been preserved and restored to protect the natural habitat and provide opportunities for wildlife viewing.

Visitors can explore the wetlands via improved trails and observe various native plant species.

Errol Heights Park underwent a major renovation project that was completed in January 2024. This $12 million project focused on restoring wildlife habitats, improving accessibility, and adding new amenities to enhance the visitor experience while preserving the park's natural character.
