Geer Park is a 46-acre community park that offers a variety of recreational opportunities for visitors. The park features a combination of developed areas and natural spaces, making it suitable for both active and passive recreation.

Athletic Facilities

The park is known for its athletic facilities, which include two baseball fields and two soccer fields. These sports fields are natural grass and are typically open for scheduled use from late March through the end of October, weather permitting.

The baseball fields are equipped with covered dugouts and bleachers behind home plate.

As part of ongoing improvements, Geer Park is set to receive upgrades through Salem's Safety and Livability Bond, passed by voters in November 2022. These enhancements aim to further improve the park's facilities and amenities for the community.
