Fernwood Park

Park Overview

At 10 acres, Fernwood Park is one of South Whitehall Township's larger green spaces, and it shows. Located in Allentown, Pennsylvania, it has a bit of something for everyone - if you're looking to break a sweat or just enjoy some fresh air with the family.

Walking Trails

Feel like stretching your legs? The park's well-maintained walking trails meander through the grounds, ideal for connecting with nature at your own pace. These paths work equally well for a leisurely afternoon stroll or getting your heart rate up with a more energetic walk or jog. The trails are particularly pleasant in fall when the leaves change color.

Sports Facilities

Sports enthusiasts won't be disappointed with what Fernwood has to offer. The park houses two baseball/softball fields where you can catch a local game or organize your own friendly match. There's also a basketball court that's popular with neighborhood kids but open to anyone looking to shoot some hoops.
