About the Location
Features and Amenities
Located between the Windermere and Kraft Village developments in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Lone Lane Park covers 17.4 acres of public recreational space with a variety of facilities.
Kids will love the two distinct playground areas - a smaller one that's excellent for the little ones and a more expansive playground where older children can burn off energy. Beyond the playgrounds, there's plenty of open grassy space where you can throw a frisbee, kick a soccer ball, or simply spread out a blanket and enjoy the day.
The Pavilion
If you're planning a gathering, the park has a large pavilion. With room for 300 people, it's the largest pavilion in Upper Macungie Township - useful when you need to accommodate larger groups.
The pavilion comes well-equipped with plenty of picnic tables, electrical outlets, and timer-controlled lighting. If you're hosting a birthday celebration or a family reunion, this covered space ensures your event can go on rain or shine.
Sports and Recreation
The park includes several sports facilities. The park houses baseball/softball fields, soccer fields, basketball courts, and volleyball courts for those looking to get competitive. If you prefer a more relaxed activity, try your hand at the horseshoe pits.
A one-mile paved and stoned path runs through the park. Parts of the trail feature wood chips and pass through wooded sections.
Picnic Areas
Not planning a huge gathering that needs the main pavilion? No problem. The park has a grove area with picnic tables, suitable for smaller gatherings or a lunch outdoors.
You can find trash receptacles strategically placed throughout, making it easy to keep the park clean and beautiful for everyone.
