2007 Renovation
In 2007, Aviator Park underwent an extensive renovation to enhance its appeal and functionality. The improvements included new paved walkways, additional plantings, updated benches, trash receptacles, and improved light fixtures.

Notable Artworks
The park features several notable public artworks. Among these are the Aero Memorial by Paul Manship, a gilded bronze sculpture dedicated to aviators who lost their lives in World War I.
The park also houses the All Wars Memorial to Colored Soldiers and Sailors by J. Otto Schweizer, adding historical and cultural significance to the space.
