Recreation Facilities

Owens Field Park spans approximately 80 acres and is situated adjacent to the Owens Field Airport, providing a unique backdrop for visitors.

The park features a variety of athletic facilities, including multiple soccer fields and baseball diamonds, making it a popular destination for sports enthusiasts and local leagues. Note that the access road to the soccer fields is unpaved with gravel and can become muddy during wet weather.

Skate Park

One of the park's notable attractions is its 15,000 square-foot outdoor skate park, which offers a street plaza, stairs, metal plated rails, and "pool" bowls ranging in depth from 4 to 12 feet.

Additional Activities

In addition to traditional sports amenities, Owens Field Park boasts an 18-hole disc golf course with an enjoyable layout that attracts disc golf players of various skill levels. Many visitors specifically come to the park to enjoy this course.

The park also includes a pump track, which is a unique bicycle course designed with rollers and banked turns, providing an exciting experience for cyclists. The well-built track is notable for being one of the few available in the Midlands area.
