Kids will gravitate toward the two playgrounds with areas thoughtfully designed for both older and younger children. While some equipment might show signs of love from years of use, we've noticed that children hardly seem to mind - they're too busy having a blast on the slides and swings.

The one-mile walking trail is a real highlight, meandering through the park in a way that makes you forget you're still in the city. What makes this trail especially nice is how it's nestled among trees that provide welcome shade during Tennessee's warmer months.

Getting There

The park welcomes visitors daily from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
