Located in a quiet residential area of East Memphis, Sea Isle Park spans 12.40 acres of green space in the heart of the neighborhood. This public park offers a little something for everyone, whether you're looking to break a sweat or simply unwind in nature.

The park's 1-mile paved walking trail meanders through the grounds, fantastic for your morning jog or an evening stroll. What we love about this path is how accessible it is - suitable for all fitness levels and well-maintained throughout the seasons.

Play Your Heart Out

Got a frisbee and a competitive streak? The park's 18-hole disc golf course is a popular attraction for disc golf enthusiasts. The course cleverly uses the natural landscape, creating a challenging yet enjoyable experience whether you're a seasoned pro or just learning the ropes.

Sports enthusiasts will appreciate the ball field and soccer field where you can join a pickup game or watch local teams in action. These open spaces are popular gathering spots, especially on sunny weekends.

You'll also find fitness equipment stationed along the walking path - convenient if you want to mix up your exercise routine outdoors.

Family Fun Zone

If you're bringing little ones along, the playground is a must-visit spot. It's been updated with modern equipment including two play sets and six swings (including one sensory seat and two baby swings). The playground is often filled with children enjoying the equipment.

Need to refuel? Several picnic tables sit conveniently close to the playground, making it easy to enjoy lunch while keeping an eye on the kids as they play.

For the Four-Legged Friends

The park features a designated dog park where dogs can run off-leash in a fenced area. Safety comes first with two double-gated entrances, and you can relax on one of several benches while your pup explores. The design includes raised berms that give dogs varied terrain to explore.

Even on hot days, dogs have access to a water fountain to stay hydrated. There's plenty of space for energetic dogs to sprint at full speed, while still offering quieter areas for more reserved pups.

The Lucille McWherter Senior Center is located within Sea Isle Park, providing services and activities for the area's older residents.

Good to Know

A heads up before you visit - the park doesn't have permanent restroom facilities, but there is a porta-potty available. Also, the dog park offers limited shade, so you might want to plan your visit during cooler hours in the summer months.
