Sherwood Park is a public recreational area located in central Corpus Christi, Texas. The park spans five acres and serves as a popular destination for local residents and their canine companions.
Recent Improvements
In January 2024, the Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department completed a $400,000 development project to enhance the park's facilities, including the addition of a dedicated dog park.
The newly constructed dog park within Sherwood Park features separate sections for small dogs and large dogs, allowing pets to run and play off-leash in a secure, gated environment. This addition makes Sherwood Park the city's third official dog park, joining Bill Witt Dog Park and Vishal Bhagat Dog Park at The Water's Edge.
