Located in Corpus Christi, Wooldridge Park spans a cozy 6.1 acres - not massive, but just right for the neighborhood. The park got a fresh makeover recently as part of the city's push to spruce up public spaces and get folks moving more.

A Playground for Everyone

What really stands out here is the modern, inclusive playground that welcomes kids of all abilities. It's no coincidence this playground landed at Wooldridge - its location near the Ronald McDonald House, Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders, and Women's and Children's Hospital makes it perfectly placed for families already visiting these facilities.

The equipment here isn't your standard slide-and-swing setup. It's thoughtfully designed so children with different physical and developmental needs can play alongside their peers and have a genuinely fun time.

What Else You'll Find

Beyond the playground, you'll discover sports areas and walking trails throughout the park. A smooth concrete path meanders through the grounds, fantastic for a morning jog, a leisurely stroll, or wheelchair users enjoying some outdoor time.

The Refresh

In 2024, Wooldridge Park emerged from its renovation as part of Corpus Christi's broader effort to upgrade parks citywide. The improvements have made it a nice place where neighbors can enjoy the outdoors together.
