Leo V. Chaney Jr. Park is a 19.9-acre community park located in South Dallas, Texas. The park was formerly known as Opportunity Park until its renaming in 2021 to honor Leo V. Chaney Jr., a former Dallas City Council member who served from 1999 to 2007.
Chaney was known for his significant contributions to the South Dallas community, making the renaming a meaningful tribute to his legacy.
