Escandon City/School Park

A Shared City and School Park

Near East Trenton Road in Edinburg, Escandon City/School Park is shared between the city and local schools and run by the City of Edinburg's Parks Division. A walking and jogging trail loops through the grounds, with each lap measuring about half a mile - handy if you're keeping track of distance. The whole park is fenced, which is reassuring if you're bringing kids or a dog.

Fields, Courts and Barbecues

For sports, there's a baseball field, a basketball court and open grass that works for football or soccer, plus a small playground for younger kids. Several BBQ pits make it easy to turn a visit into a cookout. The park is open daily from 6:30 AM to 10:30 PM.
