About the Location

Park Overview

Spanning 117 acres, B.F. Phillips Community Park is the largest park in Frisco, Texas. The park is named after B.F. Phillips Sr., who previously owned the land and was known for his world-famous Phillips Ranch where he bred and trained quarter horses.

Sports and Recreation

The park features a diverse array of sports facilities, including baseball and softball fields, soccer fields, and a football field. These amenities cater to both organized sports leagues and casual players.

For those seeking alternative activities, the park also houses a disc golf course named "Dash's Track," inspired by Phillips Sr.'s prized stallion, Dash for Cash.

Natural Features

Nature enthusiasts can take advantage of the park's extensive walking and biking trails that wind through the property. The trails provide opportunities for exercise, wildlife observation, and enjoying the Texas landscape.

Additionally, the park includes open green spaces suitable for picnicking and informal recreational activities.

Ruff Range Dog Park

B.F. Phillips Community Park is also home to the Ruff Range Dog Park, a dedicated off-leash area where dog owners can let their pets play and socialize. The dog park features separate areas for large and small dogs, along with amenities such as water stations and seating areas.

Visitor Amenities

The park's design incorporates various amenities to enhance visitor comfort and enjoyment, including picnic tables, pavilions, playgrounds, and restroom facilities. Concession areas are available during sporting events and busy periods.

Completed in two phases (2008 and 2010), B.F. Phillips Community Park continues to serve as a central recreational hub for Frisco residents and visitors, offering a blend of active sports facilities and passive natural areas.
