Trail System

Starwood Park is home to a paved trail that winds through a narrow public easement nestled within private property. Think of it as a hidden pathway that's actually part of something bigger - this trail connects to a larger network that starts at a trailhead and meanders north through the Starwood subdivision.

The Starwood Trail stretches about 1.3 miles through the park. If you head south, you'll eventually find yourself at The Star - one of Frisco's major landmarks and definitely worth checking out if you haven't been there before.

Park Features

This cozy neighborhood park follows a creek corridor and covers roughly 2.2 acres. Just so you know, the public easement only grants access to the paved trail itself - but that's enough to provide a pleasant route from Lebanon Road in the south all the way up to Stonebrook Parkway in the north.

History and Location

The park takes its name from the surrounding Starwood Development. It first opened back in 1996, and in 2012 received some thoughtful updates and improvements to its facilities.

Starwood Park is a little green retreat within the urban landscape, offering an ideal spot for walking, jogging, or simply enjoying a moment with nature. You can find it near the intersection of Lebanon Road and Dallas Parkway, making it easily accessible whether you live in the Starwood neighborhood or are just passing through the area.
