Park Features
Salazar Park features a linear design, providing an open space on one side and a more enclosed area with trees and pavilions on the other. The park includes a wide lawn that functions as a flexible event space and showcases a variety of colorful sculptural benches throughout.
A grove of trees, including newly planted ginkgo and mature live oak trees, offers shaded areas for visitors. Custom-designed park pavilions provide shelter and gathering spots for the community.
Location & Purpose
Salazar Park is part of the larger Cypress Waters mixed-use development and serves as a welcoming green space at the entry of the complex. It acts as a connector between the office and corporate developments and the multifamily and mixed-use areas in the Cypress Waters' Town Center.
The park is designed to create a balance between buildings and landscape, embodying the overall vision of the Cypress Waters development. As the first of several planned parks along Cypress Waters Boulevard, Salazar Park plays a crucial role in establishing the area's green infrastructure.
Recreation Opportunities
A decomposed granite path surrounds the park, offering a track for leisurely walks. The park's design makes it suitable for outdoor meetings, lunches, and various community events.
