Park Overview

Located in McKinney, Texas, W.B. Finney Park spans a generous 13.3 acres right next to Glen Oaks Elementary School. This neighborhood location offers an ideal escape for locals and students who need a breath of fresh air. One thing we really like about this park is its abundance of shade trees and that pleasant breeze that helps make Texas summer days more comfortable.

Recreational Amenities

If you're looking to burn some energy, there are two open turf areas great for impromptu soccer games or just tossing a frisbee around. These spaces have become quite the hotspot for soccer practice, and it's not uncommon to see kids dribbling balls across the grass on weekend afternoons.

Parking & Access

As for parking, you can use the lot at Glen Oaks Elementary School right next door. This setup works beautifully on weekends when school's out, but weekdays during school hours might require a bit more parking patience. The proximity to the school makes this park especially convenient for families looking to extend playground time after the school bell rings.
