Park Transformation in Progress
Heads up! Glen Meadows Park is getting a complete makeover that kicked off in September 2024. If you're planning a visit, keep in mind that construction will be ongoing until around December 2025.
This isn't just a quick touch-up - the renovation is tackling everything from underground (new irrigation and drainage systems) to all the features you can actually see and enjoy.
What's Coming
Once completed, you'll be able to explore new trails winding around the park - well-suited for those morning walks or evening strolls. They're also adding lighting around the grounds, which means extended hours for your outdoor activities and improved safety when the sun starts to set.
Current Park Highlights
Even during renovation, Glen Meadows still boasts some wonderful natural features. The mature trees scattered throughout provide excellent natural shade - something you'll especially appreciate while watching the kids at the playground during those hot Texas summer days.
The park's hike/bike trail remains a favorite spot for locals looking to get some exercise or simply enjoy the outdoors.
