About Fern Bluff Park in Round Rock
Fern Bluff Park is a 5.33-acre public park located in Round Rock, Texas, adjacent to Fern Bluff Elementary School. The park was the first of six parks developed by the Fern Bluff Municipal Utility District (MUD) in the community.
The park offers a variety of outdoor recreational facilities and amenities for visitors. Its large covered pavilion, measuring 50 feet by 33 feet, provides a shaded gathering space that can be reserved for events by both Fern Bluff MUD residents and non-district residents. The pavilion includes restrooms that require key entry, with access fobs available for purchase from the Fern Bluff MUD office.
Throughout the park, visitors will find additional covered picnic tables, playscapes, child and infant swings, benches, and water fountains. The park is dotted with large trees that provide ample shade and create a pleasant environment. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy the park's basketball court, sand volleyball pit, soccer field, and two baseball fields. Two tennis courts are also available, with access controlled by purchasable fobs.
Fern Bluff Park is connected to a network of trails throughout the community, offering opportunities for walking, jogging, and biking. The park's location near Fern Bluff Elementary School makes it a convenient destination for families and students in the area.
As with all parks in the Fern Bluff MUD, pets must be kept on a leash when visiting Fern Bluff Park, its greenbelts, and trails.
