Tucked between Broadway and College Avenues since 1913, Bergfeld Park has served the Tyler community for over a century. This 8.4-acre green space sits right in the heart of the Azalea District - an area known for its historic homes and residential character.

Under the Canopy

Walk into Bergfeld and the first thing you'll notice is the temperature drop, thanks to the grand old trees casting their shade across the grounds. It's nature's air conditioning on those scorching Texas days, creating little pockets of cool relief within the park.

Kids particularly love meeting "Splasher" the Dolphin Fountain, a simple but cheerful sprayground that becomes prime real estate during those sweltering summer months. Nothing fancy, but the clean, well-maintained splash pad does exactly what it needs to - keep the little ones cool and entertained.

The park cleverly separates its playground areas by age - smaller structures for the tiny tots and more challenging equipment for the older adventurers.
