Shoop Park is a 5.49-acre neighborhood park located in Norfolk, Virginia. The park offers a variety of recreational facilities for public use, free of charge.

For those interested in exercise and sports, the park includes outdoor facilities such as a basketball court and a walking track. Younger visitors can enjoy the playground area.

Water Features

One of the park's main attractions is its water splash pad, which operates seasonally from June through August. The splash pad's regular operating hours during this period are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Sunday.

Visitors should note that as of July 2, 2024, the splash pad is undergoing maintenance and will reopen soon.

Amenities

The park provides picnic shelters, offering spaces for gatherings and outdoor meals. It's worth noting that while there is one picnic shelter on site, it is not available for reservation and operates on a first-come, first-served basis.
