There's a rock climbing wall for the adventurous little ones, various climbing structures for the explorers, and a jungle gym where energy can be burned in abundance. Not everything at Ivanhoe is about activity - sometimes you just need to relax. About 4 picnic tables are scattered within the park, and you can actually move them around to create your perfect lunch spot or reading nook. A full loop sidewalk encircles the entire park, making it excellent for a casual stroll or pushing a stroller. What's particularly nice is how the park manages to feel secluded and peaceful despite being near a busy street - it's like a little green haven in the midst of suburban life.

Thirsty? There's a water fountain to keep you hydrated during your visit. When nature calls, you'll find a porta-potty near the basketball court - not glamorous, but it does the job.

Parking is somewhat limited, with just 3 regular spaces and 1 accessible parking space. If you're planning to visit during peak times (think sunny weekends or after school), you might want to consider walking if you live nearby.
