One of our favorite aspects is the paved walking trail that wraps around the park, offering stunning water and mountain vistas from nearly every angle.

If you're a boater, you'll appreciate the convenient access and plentiful parking for both vehicles and boat trailers. The first two hours of parking won't cost you a dime, with reasonable rates after that. No matter if you're launching your boat or heading to Jetty Island, the park makes it easy to start your day on the water.

Recreation Amenities

A highlight for families is the newly added ship-themed children's playground that arrived in 2023. This nautical wonderland pays homage to the historic Equator and includes ADA-accessible features alongside sea creature elements that captivate kids' imaginations. It's thoughtfully designed for children of various ages, so everyone can join in the fun.

There's also a fishing dock where kids often gather to explore and sometimes spot fascinating marine creatures like barnacles clinging to the pilings. When hunger strikes, you can settle in at one of several picnic tables, some with covered shelters that provide welcome shade for lunch or small get-togethers.
