About Covington Park
A Hidden Local Space
Positioned in Vancouver, Washington, Covington Park spans a modest 4.6 acres but packs in plenty of charm. This community park was developed in 2011 as part of the Greater Clark Parks District program and is popular with locals. With three separate entrances, it's easy to access from different parts of the neighborhood - and on sunny days, you'll definitely find it buzzing with activity.
Places to Play
If you've got kids in tow, you're in luck. The park features two separate play structures designed with different age groups in mind, plus a swing set that's rarely empty on nice days. It's a fantastic spot for little ones to burn off energy while making new friends.
Feel like moving your legs? Smooth, accessible paved trails wrap around the entire park, making it ideal for a quick morning jog or an evening stroll with the family.

Take a Break
When you need a moment to catch your breath, multiple picnic tables and benches scattered around the grounds offer perfect resting spots. Pack a lunch and make an afternoon of it, or simply sit back and watch the world go by. The open green spaces also provide plenty of room for throwing a frisbee or spreading out a blanket to read.
For the sports-minded, there's a half basketball court waiting at the far end of the park - excellent for a casual game of HORSE or some solo practice time.
Natural Beauty
What really sets Covington apart from your average neighborhood park is its lovely wetland area. This little ecosystem adds character to the park while creating a habitat for local wildlife. It's a nice reminder of the Pacific Northwest's natural beauty, right in the middle of suburban Vancouver. Depending on when you visit, you might catch different seasonal blooms adding splashes of color to the landscape.
Neighborhood Hub
You'll often see neighbors walking their dogs along the paths, families having weekend picnics, and people exercising. The park is dog-friendly too, which many local pet owners appreciate.
The mix of recreational facilities, natural elements, and open spaces makes this park serve different purposes: a playground, a nature spot, a meeting place, and a quiet retreat from everyday life.
