Room to Roam

The park centers around an open lawn where you'll find families tossing frisbees, friends having picnics, or people reading under the open sky. A walking path loops around this central field - well-suited for your morning jog, walking the dog, or teaching the little ones to ride their bikes without training wheels.

For those with a competitive streak, the basketball court provides a place to shoot some hoops or enjoy a pickup game. The spacious grassy areas also make great informal playing fields for everything from touch football to tag.

Kid-Friendly Spaces

Heritage Park thoughtfully includes two separate playground areas at opposite ends of the park. The west side features a play structure with uncovered picnic tables nearby - ideal for keeping an eye on the kids while enjoying a snack. On the east side, you'll discover another play structure alongside a covered picnic area that provides welcome shade on sunny days.

One play structure is specifically designed with younger children in mind, making this a spot where siblings of different ages can each find something fun to do.

Scattered across the grounds are several picnic areas that invite you to linger a little longer. The east side's covered tables are particularly popular when the summer sun is beating down, while the uncovered tables near the west playground offer a nice spot for a casual lunch.
