A Fresh New Look

Recently, Snow Hinton Park got quite the makeover thanks to a $12.4 million renovation project funded by Elevate Tuscaloosa. These improvements have significantly enhanced the park's amenities and appearance.

The renovation brought better lighting and security within the grounds, plus the addition of an eye-catching ellipse feature complete with clean, well-maintained restrooms and a pavilion. You'll also find improved picnic areas with grills, plenty of benches to rest on, and new pavilions meant for gathering with friends and family.

Walking Trails

If you enjoy a good stroll, you're in luck. One of the best additions from the renovation project is the network of walking paths that wind around the park. Totaling about a mile and a half, these trails create an excellent loop for your morning jog or evening walk.

The paths are especially popular with dog owners, thanks to the thoughtfully placed dog bag stations that make it easy to keep the grounds clean. No matter if you're working on your step count or just enjoying some fresh air with your four-legged friend, these trails hit the spot.

Playground

The playground at Snow Hinton Park isn't your average jungle gym. Its standout feature is a massive two-story climbing structure connected to an exhilarating spiral slide that's become something of a landmark. It's a hit with older kids, teenagers, and even adults looking for a bit of adventure.
