Situated in Chandler, Arizona, Chuparosa Park spans a generous 28 acres of public green space that offers something for just about everyone.

When Arizona's heat cranks up, the splash pad becomes the park's star attraction. With its whimsical candy cane-shaped shower and four spray areas, it's an ideal spot to cool down while the kids have a blast. We appreciate that they've installed a soft, rubbery surface that's gentle on little feet and provides some cushion for inevitable slips. Just note that the splash pad typically opens around 9:00 or 10:00 AM, depending on the day.

Activity Trails and Fields

If you're looking to get some steps in, the park features 0.59 miles of walking paths that meander through the grounds. These paths are a hit with morning joggers and afternoon dog walkers alike.

Need space for team sports? The multipurpose fields with lights accommodate everything from soccer and cricket to lacrosse and baseball practices. The Northeast football field lights up in the evenings, making it fantastic for after-work practice sessions.

Family Amenities

The shaded playground areas are a thoughtful touch in this sun-drenched state. Kids can slide, swing (with enough swings that nobody has to wait their turn), or dig in the large sand area. The playground strikes that perfect balance - safe enough for toddlers but still entertaining for the older crowd.

Planning a gathering? The park offers several picnic areas and reservable picnic shelters (ramadas) that make ideal spots for birthday celebrations or family get-togethers. Many ramadas come equipped with BBQ grills and electrical outlets - pretty convenient when you're trying to keep that crock pot of beans warm!

Sports Facilities

Ball is life at the two basketball courts, including a smaller-sized one that's just right for younger players developing their skills. Beach volleyball enthusiasts will feel right at home on the four sand volleyball courts that are kept in good condition.

The expansive grassy areas aren't just pretty to look at - they provide plenty of room for informal games. Cricket matches are particularly popular here, thanks to all that open space.

You'll discover clean restroom facilities conveniently placed across the park, however they do close up in the evening hours.
