Park Overview

Set in Mesa, Arizona, Dobson Ranch Park spans 14 peaceful acres along Dobson Road. This public green space is a popular part of the Dobson Ranch community, offering a mix of recreational facilities and natural areas that attract locals and visitors alike. The park welcomes early birds and night owls alike with daily hours from 6AM to 10PM - plenty of time to soak up some outdoor goodness whether you're an early riser or prefer evening strolls.

Play Paradise

At the heart of the park lies an impressive 10,000 square foot playground that's thoughtfully designed to welcome children of all abilities. Kids can explore multi-level play structures connected by accessible ramps, swing on toddler expression swings, get creative at the sandbox table, make some noise with musical instruments, or experience the thrill of the 50-foot zip line complete with a support seat that's become a favorite attraction.

No need to worry about the Arizona sun - two large sun shades cover the entire playground, while a combination of rubber and wood chip flooring adds safety. The rubberized surface is especially great for little ones still in the crawling stage, giving them freedom to explore between equipment. The playground accommodates all ages, with the zip line being especially popular among kids.

Natural Beauty

A duck lake forms the park's natural centerpiece, creating a pleasant backdrop for your visit. Walking paths meander around the water, inviting you to take a leisurely stroll while watching the resident ducks paddle about their business.

If fishing is your thing, the lake offers a quiet spot to cast a line, but be aware that fish populations can vary and there might be some underwater obstacles that occasionally catch fishing lines. The lake offers a tranquil atmosphere, ideal for relaxing moments.

Sports enthusiasts will appreciate the four half basketball courts equipped with lights for evening games. These well-maintained courts provide excellent space for shooting hoops or playing pickup games. History

The park as you see it today emerged from a 2012 Parks Bond Project with a $610,000 investment. In a thoughtful gesture of community connection, the previous playground equipment was donated to Mesa's Mexican Sister City, Guaymas.
