Kleinman Park
About Kleinman Park
Play & Sports Options
Kleinman Park stretches across a generous plot of land, offering a variety of sports facilities for just about everyone. If softball is your thing, you can find two fenced diamonds waiting for your next game.
The West field measures 270 feet in left field, 285 feet in center, and 285 feet in right. Over on the East field, you're looking at 284 feet in left, 286 feet in center, and 284 feet in right. Just a heads up - there's a bit of a dip between the infield and outfield areas that might affect your game.
Courts Galore
Got a racket? The park features three lighted tennis courts alongside four pickleball courts. The lighting is quite good and stays on until 10 PM, well-suited for evening matches. Worth noting that the pickleball courts are reserved Tuesday and Wednesday evenings after 6 PM for league play, so plan accordingly.
If basketball is more your speed, you can shoot some hoops at the two lighted adult basketball courts. And for those who prefer digging and spiking, there are two outdoor sand volleyball courts ready for action.
Family Fun
Kids have plenty to keep them busy here. The playground area features new play equipment that's been a hit with families. Little ones especially enjoy the ziplines, the exciting roller slide, and the dinosaur fossil dig - definitely a crowd-pleaser among the younger explorers. The playground sits in the middle of the park and has equipment suitable for all ages from toddlers up through older kids.
The spacious grassy areas make for perfect picnic spots, impromptu frisbee games, soccer practice, or just lounging under the shade of mature trees. Around the park, you'll discover covered ramadas providing welcome shade for picnics, many featuring charcoal BBQ grills for cooking up a tasty meal outdoors.
Visitor Basics
The park is well-equipped with bleacher seating for watching games, clean restroom facilities, and water fountains throughout. Parking is no problem with over 200 vehicle spaces split between two lots, making it easy to visit whether you're coming alone or with a large group for sports events or family gatherings.
Bringing Fido
Dogs are welcome at Kleinman Park, although they need to stay leashed at all times. The grassy areas provide nice walking paths for your four-legged friends. During those scorching Arizona days, you'll appreciate the shaded sections for walking your pup without either of you overheating.
