About Osborn Park
Recreational Amenities
Positioned in Scottsdale, Arizona, Osborn Park is a cozy 3-acre green space that represents a breath of fresh air for the neighborhood. This modest but mighty park packs in plenty of activities for everyone in your crew.
Families with little ones will appreciate the playground designed for children between 2 and 12 years old. What's even better? It's shaded - a true blessing during those scorching Arizona days. Kids can let their imaginations run wild on the climbing wall, zip down slides, navigate stairs, and cross bridges, all while playing in a clean, well-kept sand-based environment. It's the kind of place where you can actually relax while the kids burn off energy.
Fitness Opportunities
Not just for the kiddos, Osborn Park has something for the fitness buffs too. The Activate Fitness Circuit welcomes users 13 and up to test their strength and endurance. Fair warning: this isn't your average park workout space. With equipment for sit-ups, push-ups, pull-ups, monkey bars, and balance challenges, you'll definitely feel the burn.
The circuit provides a solid workout that might leave you a bit sore the next day - it's best suited for those who already have a decent fitness level. There's something refreshing about getting your exercise fix under the open sky rather than inside a stuffy gym.
Open Spaces and Picnic Areas
If organized activities aren't your thing, the generous grassy area offers plenty of space to do your own thing. Toss a frisbee, start an impromptu kickball game, spread out a blanket for a picnic, or simply find a spot to chill and watch the clouds drift by.
While you won't find any ramadas here, several picnic tables are available if you're looking to enjoy a meal outdoors - just remember it's first-come, first-served. There's also a drinking fountain nearby, so you can stay hydrated during your park adventures.
Connectivity
One of the coolest aspects of Osborn Park is that it connects to the Scottsdale Greenbelt, a network of paths that winds through the city. This makes the park easily accessible whether you're walking, jogging, or cycling. You can make Osborn your destination for the day or use it as a pleasant rest stop during a longer journey along the trail.
The park welcomes visitors daily from 7AM to 10:30PM. Note that there are no public restrooms available, so you might want to plan accordingly before your visit.
