About Scottsdale Rotary Park in Scottsdale
Rotary Park is an 8-acre public green space located in the heart of Gainey Ranch in Scottsdale, Arizona. The park was built by members of the Rotary Club of Scottsdale and later donated to the City of Scottsdale.
The park is approximately one mile south of Shea Boulevard and one mile east of Scottsdale Road. It serves as a peaceful oasis for local residents and visitors alike, offering a variety of recreational facilities and natural features.
One of the park's unique attributes is the world's first plaza designed in the shape of the Rotary symbol. In 2002, the Rotary Club of Scottsdale added Unity Plaza and the Spirit of Unity Flagpole to commemorate Rotary International's 100th Anniversary in 2005.
In April 2019, a new addition to the park was unveiled - a butterfly garden, further enhancing the park's appeal to nature enthusiasts. The park's hours of operation are from sunrise to 10:30 PM, allowing visitors to enjoy its amenities throughout the day.
