About Pueblo Gardens Park
Park Overview
Tucked away in Tucson's south side, Pueblo Gardens Park spans a modest 5.9 acres in the Pueblo Gardens neighborhood. This neighborhood park functions as a community gathering spot where locals can enjoy grassy areas and a variety of recreational options close to home.
Amenities and Recreation
Kids (especially the older ones) will love the playground with its climbing structures that offer just the right amount of challenge. The shade covering the play area provides welcome relief during those scorching Arizona afternoons.
Got some energy to burn? The basketball court is ideal for shooting hoops with friends or working on your jump shot solo. If you're more into open-air activities, the grassy areas provide plenty of space to toss a frisbee, have a casual game of catch, or simply stretch out with a good book.
ADFriday; The Tour Too Tough to Die - Tombstone/ Bisbee
Tombstone, known as "the town too tough to die" is part of the fabric of the old west with a way of life cut out of an era gone by. Relive the "Shootout at the OK Corral" (entry included) Enjoy live music and lunch at Big Nose Kate's Saloon, or get a cold one at the Crystal Palace.
Picnic Facilities
When hunger strikes, you can find about five picnic tables scattered across the grounds. There's also a larger table nestled under a shaded ramada - a great spot for small family gatherings or catching up with friends over a packed lunch. Nothing fancy, but definitely functional for those neighborhood get-togethers.
Swimming Pool
Perhaps the park's most refreshing feature is its swimming pool - a welcome retreat during those infamous Tucson summer heat waves when temperatures climb relentlessly upward.
Facilities
The park does have restrooms, however you should know they're sometimes under construction or temporarily closed. When open, they rely on natural lighting through vents rather than electric lights, giving them a rustic feel (to put it kindly).
