Original Buildings and Exhibits
The park features five original buildings from the quartermaster depot era, each housing various exhibits that showcase different aspects of the area's history. The storehouse contains displays on the Colorado River's history, the steamboat era, and mule wagon trains.
The office of the depot quartermaster includes a recreation of the depot in its prime and exhibits on weather and telegraph stations. The commanding officers quarters has been preserved as a house museum, reflecting life in the 1870s.

The Southern Pacific Railroad Passenger Coach Car-S.P. X7, listed separately on the National Register of Historic Places, is another notable feature of the park.
