McCambridge Park

History

Back in the early 1920s and 1930s, this spot was simply called the Civic Center area. It later took on the name of James H. McCambridge, the dedicated public servant who managed Burbank's Public Service Department from 1925 to 1952 before stepping up as City Manager in 1952.

Spread across 17.4 acres in Burbank, California, McCambridge Park sits right on Glenoaks Boulevard and has become a cornerstone of the city's green spaces.

The park is right off major city streets and easily reached from the Golden State Freeway. You'll find plenty of parking when you arrive, and once inside, well-maintained walking paths make exploring the grounds straightforward and pleasant.
