Davis Park bears the name of Jack Davis, a multitalented local figure who wasn't just a rancher but also dedicated years of his life as a teacher and principal at Fruitridge Elementary School. It's one of several green spaces under the watchful care of the Cosumnes Community Services District in Elk Grove.
