Park Overview

Situated in the Huntington Harbour area of Huntington Beach, California, Harbour View Park is a charming 4-acre neighborhood green space that's been a local treasure since September 1971. The park was officially welcomed into the community with a dedication ceremony on April 8, 1972.

It shares its name with the neighboring Harbour View Elementary School, which belongs to the Ocean View School District.

Location and Setting

Situated just south of Heil Avenue, this peaceful park offers a little piece of tranquility in the Huntington Harbour neighborhood. One of the park's simple pleasures is its position at the entrance to the islands and shoreline, where you can watch boats and water vehicles glide by as you relax.

Amenities and Features

The park strikes a nice balance between open grassy areas and shady spots, with several mature trees creating natural umbrellas on sunny days. A walking path loops around the perimeter, excellent for a casual stroll or getting in some light exercise while enjoying the surroundings.

At the heart of the park stands a clubhouse available for rent, making it a great spot for community gatherings or private events. There's a convenient parking lot in front of the clubhouse for easy access.

Visitor Information

While not officially designated as a dog park, four-legged friends are welcome here as long as they're leashed. Just remember to bring your own waste bags, as they aren't provided on-site. This is, after all, a neighborhood park first and foremost, not a dedicated dog facility.
