Nestled between Vias Colina and Arbolada in the Griffith-Metro area of Los Angeles, Budd Wiener Park is a small green retreat in the urban landscape. It's part of the 14th Council District, serving the East Area of LA, and falls under the watchful care of the Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks.

What You'll Find

Let's be honest - this isn't a sprawling recreational complex. This humble urban space offers two benches where you can take a moment to catch your breath, flip through a book, or simply watch the world go by. The park keeps things simple, with no playground or fancy equipment to speak of, but sometimes that's all you need - just a bit of green in the concrete jungle.

The Natural Scene

The real stars here are the trees, creating pockets of welcome shade around the park. Worth noting is that the grassy areas have seen better days, with some gopher residents leaving their mark in the form of uneven terrain and patches of exposed dirt.

Despite this, there's something charming about the place. The trees not only make the park more visually appealing but also create a little ecosystem of their own - a small but meaningful break from the surrounding city streets.
