The park's amphitheater is getting quite the makeover. As of 2023, the city has been pouring resources into transforming this already nice venue into something even better.

They've committed a substantial $6.1 million to build a new amphitheater structure, complete with a shade cover over the existing 65 ft x 35 ft cement stage. Once finished, this spot will be even more excellent for catching live music and performances without baking in the California sun.

While not enormous, the park's playground has enough swings and slides to keep the little ones entertained. It's particularly well-suited for younger children who might get overwhelmed at larger play areas.
