Beyer Community Park
About Beyer Community Park
Recreational Facilities
If you're into softball, you're in luck! Beyer Community Park has two lighted softball fields great for both organized leagues and casual games with friends. Beyer A sits on the north side near the picnic pavilion, while Beyer B is located south by the skate park.
Want to reserve a field? You can rent them for as little as two hours at $15.00 per hour, plus extra if you need those lights on. These well-kept fields host various leagues during the year and are popular among local sports enthusiasts.
Picnic Areas
Planning a family reunion or birthday celebration? The park offers two rentable picnic sections - the red section and the blue section - each accommodating up to 112 people.
For $100 a day, you'll get access to four barbecue units from 8:00 a.m. until sunset. There's also a pavilion with plenty of seating and shade - helpful for those hot Central Valley days when you need a break from the sun.
Tennis and Pickleball Courts
The park's tennis courts are well-maintained with clear lines - though you might have to share the space in the afternoons when the Beyer High Tennis team holds their practices and matches.
In recent years, these same courts have become popular for pickleball players, especially in the mornings when the Central Valley Pickleball Club runs their sessions. It's a great place to meet fellow enthusiasts and maybe pick up a few tips if you're new to this increasingly popular sport.
Skate Park
Got a skateboard or BMX bike gathering dust? The park's skate park offers a place to show off your skills or learn some new ones. While it seems particularly well-suited for bikes according to regulars, skaters of all types can find challenges to tackle here.
Playground
Kids need to burn off some energy? The park includes a well-maintained playground area suitable for children of various ages. You can relax nearby while watching the little ones climb, slide, and play to their hearts' content.
Additional Amenities
For those who prefer a more leisurely pace, the park features horseshoe pits that regularly host both casual games and organized tournaments. They're well-kept and offer a nice alternative to more strenuous activities.
Fancy a game of volleyball? The park's volleyball courts add yet another option to the many recreational facilities available here.
Restrooms and Facilities
Yes, there are public restrooms that get cleaned daily. Note that some stalls lack doors, but the facilities are generally kept clean and stocked with supplies - always a plus for a public park!
Dog-Friendly Environment
Dog owners, rejoice! This is a popular spot for walking your four-legged friends. Just remember to clean up after your pup to keep the grounds pleasant for everyone.
General Information
The park welcomes visitors from 6AM to 10PM daily, giving you plenty of time to enjoy all it has to offer, whether you're an early bird or prefer evening outings.
The clean grounds, shade trees, and family-friendly atmosphere make Beyer popular with locals. Just a heads up - like other parks in the area, there's no electricity available here. There's convenient parking, but it's wise to arrive early during peak times or special events if you want to snag a good spot.
