Sports Facilities

Standiford Park offers several athletic options if you're looking to get your game on. There's a softball/youth baseball field available for rent (no lights, though) at $15.00 per hour with a two-hour minimum booking.

If soccer is more your speed, you'll come across a youth soccer field that follows the same rental guidelines. Just remember that if you're organizing a team event, you'll need to provide a certificate of insurance when booking either field.

Playground Area

Kids will enjoy two play structures designed for different age groups. One of the standout features is an enchanting Cinderella-style pumpkin carriage that sparks imagination, but it might need a little TLC these days.

The equipment is generally clean, and the open layout makes keeping an eye on your little ones a breeze. Just bring hats or sunscreen since there isn't much shade covering the playground equipment.

Amenities

Standiford accommodates everyone from serious athletes to casual park-goers. When hunger strikes, head to the picnic areas where you can find tables and shelters, plus small BBQs for cooking up a family feast.

Restrooms are available, but they're occasionally locked or might not be in pristine condition. The park welcomes visitors daily from 6AM to 10PM, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the outdoors.

Recreational Space

The expansive grassy areas are meant for whatever outdoor activity suits your mood - flying kites, tossing a frisbee, sprawling out with a good book, or just letting the kids burn off energy.

One of the park's best features is its ample shade in certain sections, making it a comfortable retreat even during California's warmer days. With plenty of open space, Standiford makes an excellent venue for birthday celebrations and family get-togethers without feeling cramped.
