McPherson Athletic Facility is baseball heaven with five well-kept fields complete with dugouts, fantastic for everything from casual practices to competitive games. No matter if you're watching your little one take their first swing or cheering on more seasoned players, there's a diamond for every skill level. The South Sunrise Little League calls this place home, and they've built quite the community around these bases.

The fields here are well-maintained and in excellent condition. Beyond baseball, you'll spot soccer tournaments and other sporting events taking place across these grounds year-round.

Family Fun Zone

Got restless little ones in tow? The playground area with its cushiony wood chip surface offers an ideal distraction while older siblings are on the field. When hunger strikes after all that cheering (or playing), head over to the BBQ stations and picnic areas where you can refuel and relax.

The atmosphere here is welcoming, with neighborhood families often connecting during weekend games and practices.

Cycled over? Lock up at the bicycle racks near the entrance - a nice touch for those looking to reduce their carbon footprint. Stay hydrated with drinking fountains scattered within the grounds - especially welcome during those hot Orange afternoon games.

The restrooms are clean and well-maintained - something you don't always find at public parks but definitely appreciate when spending the day outdoors.

Good to Know

One thing to note: jumpers (those bouncy castles kids love) aren't permitted here. The focus at McPherson is clearly on organized sports and family-friendly recreation rather than carnival-style activities.
